Is TAS for investor or trader?

Ans: TAS is mainly designed with investor as the end user in the mind. However, short term delivery based traders too, will find TAS to be immensely useful tool to add to profits.

In what way TAS is different than other technical analysis software?

​Ans: TAS is specially designed for investors and traders and is designed by trader and an investor. TAS provides completely programming free environment, easy to use and 'keep it simple' way to manage your stock investments. It has some unique methods such as Japanese Heikin Ashi Candles, that other TA softwares do not provide automatically, unless you program them tediously. TAS makes many operational aspects extremely easy for the user. TAS does not bind you with specific file formats and is flexible enough to accept ASCII format files, that match required format. And there are more ways in which TAS is unique.

Can I use it for only NSE India or BSE India also is supported by TAS?

​Ans: TAS is independent of exchange, as it takes ASCII files from any market. However, currently TAS is more friendly with NSE. We are making version that will be friendlier to BSE users too (and it will understand differences such as BSE having number as stock code, as opposed to symbol on NSE. And more). User can still use TAS current version for BSE, and easily take care of 'redundancies as well as uniqueness' that is present in NSE and BSE listing (for example, users can load only those companies, which are present only on BSE, while those companies that are listed at both, can be loaded only via NSE database etc)

Is real time data supported by TAS?

​Ans: No. TAS is basically EOD (End of the day) data version. However, with little automation help from Excel, TAS provides user to create candle of the running trade day, to be shown on EOD chart, to help you make decision while the trade day is still running.

Do I need to subscribe to exchange data feed from anywhere to use in TAS?

​Ans: No, there is no need for any such subscription. However, if you have data subscription, we will require that data to be in ASCII format. We will help user to convert those files into required format for TAS. Alternately, users can make use of EOD files as available on public domain sites that they know. NSE-BSE websites provides EOD files on their websites. TAS complies to these file formats on Equity and Indices. Users will have to read, understand and fully comply to Terms and Conditions of any such websites providing data files and it will be user responsibility to comply to them. TAS is only a tool that will process those files.

What is the pricing for TAS license subscription?

​Ans: TAS runtime license is completely free for all users in its 15-day trial run. The runtime license will cost Rs. 20,000/- for purchasing for period of validity ending on 26-January-2021 for Version 2.4.0.0.

What is the pricing for associated training on TAS?

​Ans: Associated training is complimentary and is FREE. Span of training is spread across calendar and is generally wider for candidates who are new to stock market. However, only limited set of users will be given training. Refer below question for details.

What will be nature of the training that will be given for TAS user?

​Ans: TAS training is mainly for operational aspects of the TAS. However, if the user is totally new to stock market, we will be covering greater number of basic aspects related to stock market as a part of this training. Training contents will vary from user to user, and will depend upon his/her background and other knowledge aspects. However, training is available only with certain notional conditions of operational nature. Reach us to know more.

Can I run TAS on multiple computers?

​Ans: No. One subscription is for a single computer only and for a single specific user.

Is real time data feed supported by TAS?

​Ans: Only future versions will support real time data including real time LTPs - OHLCV and real time intra-day candles of different duration.

Is Fundamental Data about stocks also shipped with TAS?

​Ans: No fundamental data is shipped, but we share fundamental data as gathered by us for our own trading activities, from various public disclosures by companies, from exchange disclosures etc. This data is not expected to complete or accurate but provides user with great starting point. Users are expected to fine tune, correct and augment that same before making use of it.

How I should setup TAS? 

​Ans: We will completely guide on setup and installation via offline mode and as much as possible via online mode.
